Shipping policy

Domestic Shipping Policy

Pat’s Pastured only ships orders within the United States.  We do not offer international shipping at this time.  We currently ship to the following states:

District of Columbia

Delaware

Indiana

Kentucky*

Massachusetts

Maryland

North Carolina*

New Hampshire 

New Jersey

Ohio

Pennsylvania*

Vermont

West Virginia

*Certain zip codes in these states fall outside of our shipping zone.  We aim to only ship to areas that we know can arrive within two business days of being dropped to the carrier.

Shipment Processing

To ensure the freshest quality possible, we currently only ship orders one day a week (typically on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, depending on order volume, staffing, and other factors out of our control).  To ensure your delivery for the week, please have all shipping orders in by midnight on Sundays.  

For example, if you place an order for shipping on a Monday, it won’t be shipped until the following Tuesday (8 days later).  If you place an order for shipping on a Friday, it will be shipped out on the following Tuesday (4 days later).  

Shipments do not go out on weekends or holidays.  While promotions are being offered, there may be a delay due to a high volume of orders.  Delays also might be incurred due to weather or other factors that Pat's Pastured is not responsible for.  Should you have any questions regarding shipping, please don't hesitate to reach out to info@patspastured.com.

Shipping Fees 

We currently only ship orders totaling $200 or more.  We’re happy to offer free shipping on those orders to the zip codes we cover.  

Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

We currently send all packages via UPS to zip codes where we can aim to be there within two business days of being dropped to the carrier.  When your package has been received by the carrier, you will receive tracking information via email.  

Shipping fees and carriers are subject to change. Pat's Pastured reserves the right to reach out and update shipping costs with you for extenuating circumstances.  We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at 860-495-2231 or info@patspastured.com with your name and order number and we will look into it for you.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Pat's Pastured is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

If you received your order with damaged merchandise, please contact our support team directly at 401-830-4728 or info@patspastured.com to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim and be prepared to provide photographic evidence of damages.

In Store and Farmers’ Market Pick-Up

There is a $75 minimum order total for pick-up. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up after 12:00pm the next business day. We do not fulfill orders on weekends or holidays, so orders placed on a Saturday will not be prepared and ready for pick up until the following Monday after 12:00pm (2 days later). We will send you an email when your order is ready. While promotions are being offered, there might be a delay due to the high volume of orders.

Farmer’s Market pickup orders can be taken up until the day before the market (Tuesday or Friday) at 12pm.  Any orders that come in after that, would not be available until the next market day.  

In-store Pickup Orders - For example, if you place an order for pickup in-store on a Monday at 10am, it will not be ready until the next business day, Tuesday, after 12pm.  If you place an order for in-store pickup on a Saturday, your order will be ready on the next business day, Monday, after 12pm.  You will receive an email confirmation letting you know when your order is ready to pickup. 

Farmer’s Market Pickup Orders - For example, if you place an order on a Thursday at 2pm for pickup at the Hope Street Market, it would be available for that following Saturday (2 days later).
