We raise Katahdin Sheep, a hearty and adaptable meat breed with exceptional mothering instincts and frequent twin births. Katahdin Sheep are parasite resistant and because they have hair rather than fleece they do not need to be shorn. These characteristics allow us to raise our sheep with minimal human interaction, aside from daily watering and movement to fresh pasture.
Our sheep graze in our pastures most of the year and are supplemented with hay in the winter.
They are protected from predators by electric mesh fencing and two livestock guardian dogs that live with them 24/7.
